EO DC Presents East Vs. West: Taste of Jordan

When:  Mar 20, 2023 from 16:00 to 19:00 (ET)

Join EO DC and EO Jordan for an evening of international perspective on entrepreneurship at the Embassy of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on Monday, March 20, from 4:00-7:00pm.

Experience traditional Arabic cuisine as we meet with the International Ministers of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and join in our panel discussion with EO Jordan and EO DC members.
If you've thought about international or cross-cultural expansion, this is a great jumping off point to learn about doing business in the middle east, and culture, and business norms and expectations.
While visiting, you will also learn about qualifying Industrial Zones established by the U.S. Congress, allowing products to enter the United States duty-free if manufactured in Israel, Jordan, Egypt, or the West Bank and Gaza. The U.S.-Jordan free trade agreement (FTA), the U.S.'s first FTA with an Arab country, has expanded the trade relationship by reducing barriers for services, providing cutting-edge protection for intellectual property, ensuring regulatory transparency, and requiring effective labor and environmental enforcement. The United States and Jordan have an "open skies" civil aviation agreement; a bilateral investment treaty; a science and technology cooperation agreement; and a memorandum of understanding on nuclear energy cooperation. Such agreements bolster efforts to help diversity Jordan's economy and promote growth.
We have limited seating for 35 members in this once-in-a-lifetime event, so don't wait! Register today.
