The 7 stages of business:
Start Up, Hard Work, Tweener, Silver Bullett Syndrome, Organization, Mature, and Divestiture are a part of the framework that makes up a company's stages of growth. They are tools to help us frame and identify what areas of conflict, or struggle, a business owner/entrepreneur may experience and how to overcome them in each stage. These stages are listed in order of how one may experience them, but they definitely are not stops on a linear timeline in a business;
rather, like the change management curve, or stages of grief, one can go in and out of stages - backwards and forwards - depending on decisions made and outcomes.
