EO DC Mission Black List: Search & Capture of Saddam Hussein

When:  Sep 11, 2019 from 15:30 to 18:30 (ET)
As part of the Delta Force Special Ops team, Eric Maddox was responsible for over 300 interrogations that lead directly to the capture of Saddam Hussein. During the hunt, he was desperate to get cooperation from his prisoners and after many hours of trials and failures, found that the quickest, most effective way was through what he calls Empathy Based Listening. Simply put, Empathy Based Listening is listening done without distraction and helps one gain trust. It is listening not just with the ear but is rather a psychological process which can be learned.

Eric briefly lays out this process in order that audience members can use it in their own lives. Eric believes that in a world of many choices, the most effective way to gain and keep clients is by gaining their trust and by having a team of coworkers and leaders who are courageous and trustworthy though the process of constant change. Through wit, humor and anecdotal story telling, Eric takes audiences through a historical ride and provides key take aways which allow each audience member the ability to build more solid business relationships through trust.
