Questions and answers - open discussion.
The crises is neither unprecedented, nor unpredictable. There has always been ups and downs in mortality of people
and companies – often much more extreme than what we see today. Much more. This one is just sudden and unexpected. A storm from a blue
sky. A profound test of wisdom, creativity, guts and endurance. It is “survival of the fittest” on steroids. Global in reach
and cuts through countries, companies, families, communities, individuals. The clearest mirror we have had in front of us for a long
time. A wake-up call to help us see what is transient and what is permanent.
The laws of physics apply and will always apply. Human nature applies and will always apply. Cash follows and will follow the same rules as always. The only lifeline of a business is to create and keep a
customer, while spending less to deliver than the customer is willing to pay.
It has always been like that and will always be like that.
Just when we think we have all the answers, life changes the
questions. Just the way it will always be. Life for most of us will continue as it has always been –
there will be winners, there will be losers, and there will be people who are
above it all. This is predictable. This is where we should focus.
The crises is neither unprecedented, nor unpredictable. A test of our endurance.
We should be grateful to those who will pay the price for
the rest to wake up and check what we are made off.
1.
Master energy
“Energy is the insignia of life. Energy is
the capacity to do. Nothing happens without energy. Creating, sustaining and channeling
energy is the priority of any leader of any organization at any time”
[CHRISTO POPOV]
How generate and sustain energy in times of
crises. Focus energy where it matters to reduce stress and increase productivity
Be in control of your thoughts. Energy follows attention. Thoughts drive
attention. Be clear of what you can control and what you can not. Focus on what
you can while ruthlessly dropping what you can not . Establish processes and
routines for the whole team Stick to it, no matter what.
2.
Survive, get fit
“Never waist a good crisis. When everyone is
scared, be brave. When everyone is brave, be scared”
[WARREN BUFFET]
